Jahreshauptversammlung der SPD Arheilgen: Tim Sackreuther bleibt Vorsitzender – SPD erneuert Forderungen zu Bahnanlagen

Die Arheilger SPD hat auf ihrer Jahreshauptversammlung im „Nachbarschaftstreff Alte Feuerwehr“ unter der Versammlungsleitung von Dieter Wenzel ihren Vorstand neu gewählt, aktuelle Themen debattiert und Anträge beschlossen.

Vorsitzender der SPD Arheilgen bleibt Tim Sackreuther. Der 33-jährige wurde von der Jahreshauptversammlung des Ortsvereins ohne Gegenstimme für eine weitere Amtszeit gewählt. Der Arheilger ist seit 2019 Stadtverordneter für die SPD und übernahm den Vorsitz der Arheilger SPD im September 2022 von Hanno Benz, der inzwischen Oberbürgermeister der Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt ist.

Als stellvertretende Vorsitzende wurden Jutta Prohaska und die SPD-Stadtverordnete Samantha Härter ebenfalls in ihren Ämtern bestätigt. Wechsel gab es in den Funktionen von Kasse und Schriftführung. Nadine Buske-Benz übernimmt die Kassenführung von Christopher Kunkel. Till Jürgens folgt Birgit Kornnagel im Amt der Schriftführung. Als Beisitzerinnen und Beisitzer wurden Mechthild Benz, Hanno Benz, Manuela Feigl, Jürgen Hein-Benz, Patrick Horn, Felix Klebe, Birgit Kornnagel, Christopher Kunkel, Peter Kunkel, Tino Morgenroth, Stefan Ritz, Thomas Stetz gewählt.

Für ein lebenswertes Arheilgen – klare Kante gegen Rechts

Der alte und neue Vorsitzende, Tim Sackreuther, betonte in seiner Rede den steten Einsatz für ein lebenswertes und gerechtes Arheilgen als Ziel der politischen Arbeit vor Ort. Arheilgen sei ein Ort für alle und werde es bleiben. Die SPD wolle weiterhin am Erhalt und der Verbesserung von Lebensqualität im Stadtteil und insbesondere der sozialen Infrastruktur arbeiten. „Dafür setzen wir uns gemeinsam mit unserem Oberbürgermeister Hanno Benz ein.“

Deutlich wurde Sackreuther mit Blick auf die AfD: „Rechter Hass, fremdenfeindliche Hetze und die Verachtung unserer demokratischen Grundwerte haben dagegen in Arheilgen keinen Platz. Die SPD steht standhaft im breiten Bündnis für Demokratie und Vielfalt im Stadtteil und an der Seite aller Arheilgerinnen und Arheilger, die sich gegen Rechts stellen oder von rechtem Hass bedroht werden.“ Die Jahreshauptversammlung der SPD Arheilgen beschloss in einem Antrag, den weiteren Umgang mit der AfD als Bedrohung der Demokratie auf einer Sonder-Mitgliederversammlung zu thematisieren.

Bahnübergang: SPD Arheilgen fordert Verbesserungen

Die Jahreshauptversammlung der Arheilger Sozialdemokraten erneuert zudem die SPD-Forderungen nach Verbesserungen der Situation rund um den Bahnübergang zwischen Arheilgen und Kranichstein. Die Belastungen für Verkehrsteilnehmer und Anwohner durch lange Schließzeiten seien weiterhin ein Problem. Die SPD Arheilgen fordert ein ganzheitliches Konzept zur Verbesserung der Verkehrssituation. Teil davon müssten u.a. eine Optimierung der Schließzeiten und die Prüfung einer Brücke für Fuß- und Radverkehr sein. Die Planungen der ICE-Waschanlage böten ein geeignetes Zeitfenster für einen solchen Prozess.  

Für die Waschanlage sieht die Arheilger SPD die Deutsche Bahn und die Stadt Darmstadt in der Pflicht, die Belastungen im Umfeld der Anlage für Anwohner, Umwelt und Verkehr so gering wie möglich zu halten.

In einem weiteren Antrag sprachen sich die Arheilger Sozialdemokraten für eine Tempo-30-Zone in Messeler Straße und Jägertorstraße aus. Die Verkehrswegesicherheit hier müsse wegen der vielen anliegenden oder nahen Einrichtungen; wie u.a. Astrid-Lindgren-Schule, Kitas, DRK und Muckerhaus; erhöht werden.
