Wärmeausfall im Akazienweg nur die Spitze des Eisbergs

Die Heizungen in den Bauverein-Häusern im Akazienweg funktionieren wieder. Doch die MieterInnen berichten von weiteren Mängeln: Wasserschäden, Schimmelbefall, bei Regen aufquellende Wohnungstüren, die teilweise nur mit Hilfe von außen geöffnet werden könnten, nicht nutzbare Kinderzimmer. „So geht man definitiv nicht mit den eigenen MieterInnen um und eigentlich auch nicht mit den eigenen Immobilien“, kritisiert Philipp Lehmann, SPD-Stadtverordneter und Vorsitzender der SPD-Waldkolonie. Mit einer parlamentarischen Anfrage will er nun Klarheit in den Umgang des Bauvereins mit dem Akazienviertel bringen.

„Der Wärmeausfall im Akazienweg war wohl nur die Spitze des Eisbergs. Nun offenbaren sich noch mehr Mängel“, beklagt Lehmann. Aber auch die jetzt neu bekannt gewordenen Schäden – die mitunter schon seit mehreren Monaten existieren sollen – werden von dem alten Vorwurf der MieterInnen begleitet: Es kümmere sich niemand, es werde nichts unternommen, um diese gesundheitsschädlichen Zustände zu beseitigen. Deshalb fordert die SPD-Fraktion nun eine Aufarbeitung des Umgangs, den der Bauvereins mit Krisenlagen und Reparaturfällen pflegt.

Ein Krisen- und Reparaturfall ist zumindest abgearbeitet. „AnwohnerInnen aus dem Akazienweg berichten uns aktuell, dass die Heizungen erstmals seit dem 30. Oktober wieder warm werden – und auch die Warmwasserzufuhr wieder funktioniert“, führt Lehmann aus. „Unser Dank gilt Oberbürgermeister Hanno Benz, der sich vor Ort kümmerte, allen beteiligten MitarbeiterInnen des Bauvereins, der Entega und den beauftragten DienstleisterInnen.“ Der Kommunalpolitiker vermutet, dass der Druck über die Presse gewirkt hat und bedauert gleichzeitig, dass dieser mediale Druck überhaupt nötig war. Wie dem auch sei: Die MieterInnen hegen jetzt die Hoffnung, dass auch die anderen Schäden schnell repariert werden. Hierzu Lehmann: „Dem Akazienweg muss nach der Behebung des Wärmeproblems eine Perspektive gegeben werden.“ Hierzu gehört für ihn auch eine gänzlich andere Kommunikation des Bauvereins.

So seien die wohlwollenden Schilderungen der Bauverein AG über den eigenen Umgang mit der Wärmekrise schlichtweg falsch. Der Immobilienkonzern hatte in der Frankfurter Rundschau behauptet, dass „zwei Tage nach dem Heizungsausfall [..] auch elektrisch betriebene Radiatoren an die betroffenen Mieterinnen und Mieter ausgeliefert worden seien.“ Lehmann erläutert: „Auf der AnwohnerInnen-Versammlung zweieinhalb Wochen danach hatte aber noch nicht jede Mietpartei einen Radiator. Manche wussten nicht mal davon, dass es welche gab, da der Bauverein sich erst Tage danach erstmals postalisch an alle MieterInnen gewandt hatet. Das passt doch nicht zusammen. Die Kommunikation des Bauvereins in solchen Krisenlagen intern und mit den Dezernent*innen, die zweieinhalb Wochen lang nichts wussten, muss dringend verbessert werden.“

Dass es erst massiven medialen Drucks bedurfte, damit die Heizungen nach dem 30. Oktober wieder warm werden, spricht leider Bände über die Prioritäten des Bauvereins. Die parlamentarische Anfrage der SPD-Fraktion ist daher ein wichtiger und überfälliger Schritt, um Verantwortlichkeiten offenzulegen und strukturelle Missstände aufzuarbeiten. Ich hoffe sehr, dass die betroffenen MieterInnen nicht erneut auf sich allein gestellt bleiben und die übrigen Schäden nun ebenso zügig behoben werden.
